Interlibrary loan

Technical and conceptual responsibilities for interlibrary loan and physical loan are distributed among two organisations within KOBV:

• KOBV-Zentrale

  This organisation is responsible for the technical realization of the online interlibrary lending as well as for:
  
  • the operation of the interlibrary lending server and interlibrary lending software
  • the technical support of libraries involved in interlibrary lending
  • the billing and shipping of invoices

The KOBV-Zentrale will be pleased to answer any questions you might have on these topics.

• Leihverkehrszentrale at the ZLB

  On behalf of the two federal states, this organisation is responsible for:
  
  • the approval of new libraries for lending
  • the management of the official library lending list
  • the organisation of the bookmobile servic
