Services for Libraries

In its function as regional service provider for libraries the KOBV-Zentrale has established a couple of ASP  (Application Service Providing) services that are being expanded according to requirements.

Within the scope of these ASP services, the KOBV-Zentrale operates and maintains software applications for libraries and provides server performance and storage space. Libraries develop local information offers on the basis of this. In this context, the libraries only have to deal with library-related aspects, while the KOBV-Zentrale takes care of all technical matters.

In addition, the cooperative method of operation in the KOBV-Zentrale produces substantial synergies for all persons involved.
